Unternehmen, Verbände und (Sport-)Stars wie die ehemalige alpine Skifahrerin und dreifache Olympiasiegerin Maria Höfl-Riesch (seit 2009), die Fernsehmoderatorin Andrea Kaiser (seit 2012), den Weltklasse-Biathleten Simon Schempp (seit 2010) und den aktuellen und sechsmaligen Rallye-Weltmeister Sébastien Ogier (seit 2015). 

Marcus Höfl betreute auch die mehrfache Olympiasiegerin im Schwimmen, Franziska van Almsick, die Tennislegende Boris Becker, Fußballwelt- und Europameister Stefan Reuter und den deutschen Fußballspieler des Jahres 1996, Matthias Sammer.

2013 gründete Marcus Höfl CAMP BECKENBAUER, die globale Plattform für Top-Entscheider im internationalen Sport, und vertrat das Forum als CEO weltweit. Darüber hinaus entwickelt, implementiert, vermarktet und hostet Marcus Höfl verschiedene andere Veranstaltungsformate im nationalen und internationalen Sportsektor wie den Mountain Peak (seit 2018), den Arab German Sports Summit (seit 2019), BILD100 Sport (seit 2017) .

Für die Hermes Fan Tour und die erfolgreiche Premiere des Camp Beckenbauer erhielt Marcus den Sport Bild – Award 2013 für die „Beste Sportvermarktung“.

Marcus Höfl war ab 2009 auch Mitglied des Beirats von DFL Sports Enterprises – der Organisation, die für die nationale und internationale Lizenzierung, das Sponsoring und den Verkauf von Medienrechten der Bundesliga verantwortlich ist.

Marcus war von 2003 bis 2006 intensiv in die Strategie, Planung und Umsetzung der FIFA Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft 2006 in Deutschland eingebunden.

Außerdem entwickelte er seit 2006 als „Head of Global Soccer“ Red Bulls Engagement für den Fußball und war hierfür u.a. Mitglied des Board of Governors der Major League Soccer in Nordamerika.

Im Rahmen mehrerer von ihm initiierter Charity-Events sammelte er in den letzten Jahren über 2 Mio. Euro für die Franz-Beckenbauer-Stiftung und die Laureus Sports for Good Foundation ein.

Marcus ist seit 2011 mit Maria Höfl-Riesch verheiratet. Er hat zwei Söhne aus früheren Beziehungen und lebt in Kitzbühel und Gardone Riviera. 1973 wurde er in Bad Reichenhall geboren. Aufgewachsen ist er in Herzogenaurach und hat durch seine Eltern (Vater Herbert war selbst erfolgreicher Eisschnellläufer und Sport-Manager, u.a. bei adidas und Opel) die Sportverbundenheit in die Wiege gelegt bekommen.
